Edie Brickell出生于1966年3月，她的才华在酒吧助兴演唱时被发现，1988年她的“What I Am”成为美国最热门歌曲，1992年Edie这个恬静的女孩幸福地投入了Paul Simon的怀抱。这首歌曲《good time》是Edie Brickell的专辑《Picture Perfect Morning》里的，有人说她的歌适合在夏天的午后听，因为她稚气却不幼稚的童声可以抵抗热天午後的烦躁，Edie Brickell的声音的确有沁人心脾的魔力。
