在2005年度“美国偶像”决赛中，“偶像”冠军Carrie Underwood（凯莉·安德伍）和亚军Bo Bice（波·拜斯）都分别演唱了一首“Inside your heaven”。

也是在同一年，冠亚军又凭同一首发行单曲“Inside your heaven”双双挤进Billboard单曲榜前十。特别是Carrie Underwood的成绩更为骇人，在发行首周轰下了天后前辈Mariah Carey（玛丽亚·凯莉）的超级单曲“We belong together”。

同一首歌曲以不同的风格演绎，更能显示出谁最善于表达歌曲的精髓和展示个人的魅力。“Inside your heaven”本身属于中等偏上的流行情歌，歌曲自身没有太多可圈点之处。不过，就两位“偶像”的唱功而言，我个人比较偏向Bo Bice的演唱。与Carrie高亢不落的嗓音相比，Bo Bice的演绎更为深情、更显张力。适合乡村歌曲的Carrie Underwood在唱类似“情到深处”的情歌时只显高昂、不见高潮，缺少爆发力。

如果说Carrie Underwood的“Inside your heaven”是小女子式的呐喊，Bo Bice则更像是成熟男人深沉的内心独白。
